Founded by Vince and Sara Sullivan, the business began with Vince’s years of experience in the food industry and a passion for quality that led him on a mission: to source the finest vanilla beans in the world and bring them to chefs across the UK.
What started as a search for excellence has grown into a family-run business rooted in integrity, sustainability, and direct relationships with farming cooperatives. From the lush valleys of Madagascar to the exotic terroirs of other vanilla-producing regions, Zazou Emporium celebrates the distinct character of each origin, from floral to smoky, earthy to caramel-sweet
Today, Zazou is run by Vince, Sara, and their son Harry Sullivan, who has inherited not just the family’s love for vanilla, but its deeper story. Harry is passionate about raising awareness among restaurants and hotels of the diversity, craft, and heritage behind each pod and the incredible people who grow them. Together, the Sullivans are on a mission to elevate vanilla from “ordinary” to extraordinary, bringing its true flavors, ethics, and richness to professional kitchens and home bakers alike.
